Lazlo

An old gentleman who has even older wisdom, Lazlo is the owner and sole proprietor of a local diner in the city, one especially favored by the local populace.
Choosing to keep much of his life before him private, he rarely speaks of himself, unless the opportunity for a teachable moment or a wisdom-granting story should arise. He’s a bard by no other name and loves to not only keep his patrons satisfied with warm food and great drink, but also the power and knowledge that history can bring.
Along with the paradox of him saying everything and nothing of his travels through life, he has formed close relations with Alphonse and Bethel, always ready to grant them a smile, a succulent meal, and a story.
Some rumor that he is purposefully abridging much of his stories for not only his own protection, but the protection of others close to him. But to most, it’s all hearsay. After all, his carefully crafted cuisine is second to none, to dig any deeper would be a crime itself.
